牙含章(1916--1989) 现代藏学家、民族学家。甘肃省和政县人。回族。少年时代就读于甘肃省立五中。民国25年(1936)到拉卜楞寺保安司令黄正清手下作书记，穿袈裟当喇嘛，开始学习藏语文。26年(1937)随五世嘉木样活佛前往西藏，调查青藏地区寺院和社会情况，写成《青藏调查记》。27年(1938)离藏到西安，经八路军西安办事处介绍，进陕北公学分校，10月加入中国共产党。28年(1939)1月，被中共中央组织部分配到西北工作委员会研究室研究少数民族问题，撰写《回回民族问题》。29年(1940)陕北公学成立民族部，他兼任民族语文教员，并担任“回民文化促进会”常务理事。30—31年(1941—1942)，任中共中央调查研究局第四分局少数民族研究室副主任、延安民族学院研究室副主任兼藏民班班主任。32—35年(1943—1946)参加延安整风...(展开全部)

李安宅(1900-1985年)，河北省迁安县人。字仁斋,笔名任责。著名社会学、人类学、民族学家。曾任四川省政协委员,中国社会学研究会顾问、中国民族学会顾问、中国民俗学研究会顾问等。1926年燕京大学社会学系毕业,后赴美国深造。1938年赴甘肃拉卜楞寺对藏传佛教进行实地调查,后任教于成都华西大学。1947年到1949年在美英从事研究工作。1950年进藏任教。1963年任教于四川师范学院。1985年逝世。一生专治民族学、宗教学、社会学、藏学的研究,颇有成绩。宗教方面的专著有《藏族宗教史之实地研究》、《拉卜楞――李安宅的调查报告》、《宗教与边疆建设》等。
